Prepare your anus for a very scientific explanation of our existence.
I've mentioned this way too many times in my previous posts, about how anything you do or whoever the fuck you think you are doesn't matter. That in our entire milky way galaxy, we are just specks of dusts and we'll all die anyway.
Like if you poke a butt cheek, the entire butt cheek moves, not just that 1 spot, but if you take a step back, that poke has no effect on the cheek beside it, let alone the rest of the body. That's how significant we are as human beings. Who or what we affect is so small compared to the known universe, it's just a small bubble surrounding our lives.
But here's the thing right, of course it matters. It matters to us, it matters to everything else around us.
So the question now is, when does it matter and when doesn't it?
1. It does when large masses of waste are dumped in oceans and other water banks, it doesn't when the bubbler water "taste funny"
2. It does when great areas of forest land are cleared for architectural development, it doesn't when the mall is half an hours drive away from your house.
3. It does when billions of animals are being slaughtered for consumption, it doesn't when your steak isn't extra lean.
4. It does when more money is spent on electricity than space exploration, it doesn't when the wifi is slow at your grandma's place.
5. It does when your depression is affecting everything and everyone in your life, it doesn't when you're sad because your boyfriend won't text you for 2 hours.
It does when our ignorant and selfish actions affect the planet's overall well being, resulting in majority of our first world problems. It doesn't when our immediate hiccups disable us for a short period of time.
In a world of 7 billion people, you matter. Each and every animal in the food web matters. Every single element on planet Earth matters.
However, if you are clothed, sheltered, fed and overall satisfied with yourself on a regular basis, please, just shut the fuck up and get over it. :)
